What I Need to Remember When Life Gets Tough …

✨ What I Need to Remember When Life Gets Tough✨… Life feels overwhelming for me lately especially today and the weight of the world is pressing down on me. I need to stop, reflect and remind myself of all that I have in my life — all that truly matters. I am a spouse to an AMAZING man, a partner who stands by me, lifts me up, and reminds me of love’s strength even in the hardest moments. Ivan has been the biggest blessing of my life and has brought out the best in me ever since the first day we met. I can get through any obstacles or struggles that come my way as long as I have Ivan by my side. I love this man more and more each day, I am truly thankful to him to have by my side to go through this crazy life with.  I am a mother to two beautiful girls, who bring light, laughter, and meaning into every single day. Watching them grow is one of my greatest blessings. With all the stressful days full of chaos and overload I still find being a mother the greatest gift that has...

The Person I Look Up to the Most

✨The Person I Look Up to the Most:✨

Charity Beadle: My Mom

When I reflect on the people who have had the most profound influence on me, it always circles back to one person—my mom. It’s not just because she’s my mom, but because she embodies qualities that I strive to live by every day. From her unwavering strength to her boundless love, there are countless reasons why I look up to her more than anyone else.

1. Her Strength in Adversity

One of the qualities I admire most in my mom is her incredible strength. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges her way, yet she always manages to persevere. Whether it’s personal struggles, family issues, or everyday life hurdles, she faces them with a calm determination that’s nothing short of inspiring. She’s shown me what it means to be resilient—to pick yourself up, no matter how hard life knocks you down, and keep going with grace.

2. Her Unconditional Love

There’s no love like a mother’s love, and my mom’s love is the purest example of this. My mom didn’t get this love from her own mother but, she definitely made sure my brother and I would have it. She’s always there for me, no matter what. Whether it’s a celebration or a failure, she’s the first to support me. Her love isn’t just shown in grand gestures but in the little things—the warm meals, the quiet comfort when I’m feeling down, and the words of encouragement when I’m unsure of myself. Her capacity to love unconditionally is something I deeply admire and try to emulate in my own relationships.

3. Her Work Ethic

My mom has always been a hardworking person, never afraid to put in the effort to achieve her goals. Whether at work or at home, she manages to juggle multiple responsibilities while always giving her best. Her dedication and perseverance in everything she does have taught me the value of hard work and the importance of taking pride in whatever task you undertake. Watching her, I learned that success isn’t about shortcuts but about consistent effort and dedication. She has never given up and I admire her so much for it.

4. Her Wisdom and Guidance

Whenever I’m facing a tough decision or feeling lost, my mom is the one I turn to for guidance. Her wisdom, grounded in experience and empathy, has been invaluable to me. She always knows just what to say to help me see things clearly and remind me of my own strengths. Her advice isn’t always what I want to hear, but it’s always what I need to hear. She teaches me that making thoughtful decisions and staying true to myself is what matters most in the long run.

5. Her Ability to Make Me Laugh

While my mom is a source of wisdom and strength, she also knows how to bring joy into my life. Her sense of humor is infectious, and she can always make me laugh, even during the most difficult moments. Laughter has been a constant in our family, and it’s something my mom has always embraced, reminding me that it’s okay to not take life too seriously all the time. She’s taught me that finding joy, even in small moments, is essential to living a fulfilled life. Her ability to laugh and smile with everything she has been through is truly inspirational.

6. Her Compassion for Others

My mom is one of the most compassionate people I know. She’s always looking out for others, whether it’s lending a hand to a neighbor or offering a listening ear to a friend in need. Her kindness extends beyond her family, and it’s one of the things I admire most about her. She’s taught me the importance of treating others with empathy and respect, reminding me that we are all connected and that compassion is a value worth nurturing. Even with the people who have hurt her continuously she has still always been there with her kindness and grace. To me that is a special type of quality to have because she stays true to herself no matter what. Seeing her still be there for individuals who do not deserve her by any means is a true strength.

7. Her Ability to Adapt

Over the years, I’ve seen my mom adapt to many changes—whether it’s evolving with technology, adjusting to new family dynamics, or navigating the ups and downs of life. No matter what comes her way, she approaches it with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Her adaptability is a lesson in itself, teaching me the importance of being flexible and staying open to new experiences and growth.

My Mom, My Role Model

At the end of the day, it’s easy to see why my mom is the person I look up to the most. She embodies so many qualities I strive to cultivate in myself—strength, love, work ethic, wisdom, humor, compassion, and adaptability. More than just a mother, she’s a role model, a teacher, and my best friend. I’m incredibly lucky to have her as my mom, and I can only hope to live up to the example she has set. She is, and always will be, my greatest influence and my biggest source of pride. Always stay true to yourself and never change. I love you!

Personal Growth and Development

✨Personal Growth and Development✨   The Power of Small Steps:  How Consistent Effort Leads to Big Changes The topic of this post is about personal growth and development. I often struggle with this myself. I have found that small baby steps and consistency is the key to change.    What is personal growth often thought as?  Personal growth is often thought of as a massive transformation—something that happens overnight after a breakthrough moment or an intense period of introspection.  However, the truth is that true and lasting personal development happens through consistent, small actions over time. The Myth of Instant Change We’ve all seen those dramatic before-and-after stories. Maybe it’s a fitness journey, a career turnaround, or someone who’s transformed their mindset in a seemingly instant way.  These stories are powerful and inspiring, but they can also create a false expectation that personal growth needs to happen in a flash. The reality is f...

A Letter to You, My Uncle Ben

Dear Uncle Ben, How are you doing? How's the food in heaven? Have you made any friends? These are all kinds of questions I have stuck in my mind lately. I am still trying to grasp the concept of grief. I still can’t wrap around my head and accept that you are no longer here with us. I feel like my whole world has been shattered into a million pieces. It kills me inside knowing you will never walk through that door at a family gathering or that you will never be at holidays. You were a huge part of our family and still are. I hope up in heaven you have gotten to see and know my kids. Everyday that passes it shatters me emotionally that you never got to meet my girls. I wanted them to have the Uncle Ben that I had growing up. Seeing my Uncle Ben was always the highlight of gatherings. You made things so magical and fun for me growing up. You have made a HUGE impact on my world and you probably don’t even realize it. To this day, I remember perfectly you tricking me thinking Grand...
